A new Prisoner Fact Sheet entitled "Tohar Haydarov" has been added.

On March 9, a criminal court in Uzbekistan sentenced 27-year-old Tohar Haydarov to 10 years in prison for the “Illegal sale of narcotic or psychotropic substances in large quantities,” according to Forum 18 News Service. Members of the Baptist church in Uzbekistan insist that the charges are fabricated and that Haydarov’s sentence was punishment for his religious activity. ...
 

President Obama and the Democrats have already pushed this bill through the House, and will push it through the Senate in the next few days unless we intervene.

Although the bill will muzzle the voice of pro-family groups, Democrats carved out a special exemption for unions, the Sierra Club and the AARP, so the rules won't apply to them.

And the bill will go into effect just 30 days after it is signed by President Obama, just in time to silence our message before the fall elections.

To make sure it can't be challenged in court prior to November, the bill expressly prohibits expedited judicial review.

The Democrats know this bill is unconstitutional and will eventually be overturned by the courts. They don't care as long as it will help them this November.

In fact, Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) admitted on the House floor that the purpose of the bill is explicitly partisan (video here). He said that unless the DISCLOSE Act passes, "we'll see more Republicans getting elected."

The president and the Democrats don't want a level playing field this fall; they want one tilted steeply in their favor.

But when the Founders gave us the First Amendment, they prohibited Congress from making any law "abridging the freedom of speech," by which they meant freedom of political speech. They knew that a representative democracy can only thrive if it protects vigorous and robust public debate during election seasons.

This bill is so bad that even the ACLU has come out against it.

Home Depot exposes children to homosexuality in celebrated style

Home Depot is a willing participant in exposing children to unhealthy and risky homosexual activities.

According to the 2010 Southern Maine Pride website, Home Depot signed on as a major sponsor of its 2010 Gay Pride events. But simply financing and marching in the parade wasn't enough for the big box chain.

Home Depot also signed on as a "festival" vendor, conducting Kid's Craft Workshops for children in the midst of loud and boisterous gay activities.

To this end, Home Depot is basically encouraging the attendance of children at events which openly expose them to transvestites, cross-dressers, and homosexual activists.

Unfortunately, Home Depot's participation in the Southern Maine Pride Festival doesn't stand alone. It has also sponsored and participated in the 2010 Boston Gay Pride parade.

Gay pride events have a long track record for offensive public displays of homosexual conduct. Obviously, Home Depot is OK with the idea of exposing children to an unhealthy and risky environment. So much so, it is willing to also celebrate it by participating in its promotion, as demonstrated in these photos from the 2010 Maine and Boston events.

In its promotional material for the program "JC", Viacom describes Jesus as a "regular guy" - rather than the Son of God - and depicts him moving to New York to "escape his father's enormous shadow." The Father is depicted as an apathetic dad virtually addicted to video games and totally uninterested in his son's life.

So Comedy Central is set - unless we intervene - to blaspheme two-thirds of the Trinity on a weekly basis.

See how we expect Comedy Central to mock Christ by viewing this previous offering of anti-Christian bigotry from the show "South Park." Warning - It is offensive, but depicts the animosity the network has toward Christianity.

Yet in recent weeks Comedy Central bowed to pressure from Islamic groups and heavily censored an episode of "South Park" that showed Mohammed in a bear costume. The hypocrisy here is staggering.

Comedy Central shows more respect for Mohammed and for Muslims, who represent two percent of the American population, than for Jesus Christ and the 83% of Americans who believe in him.

We need to send a loud, clear message to Comedy Central and all potential advertisers of "JC" that this kind of insulting programming is completely unacceptable. If we speak with one voice now we can keep this program from ever seeing the light of day.
