Election Results

While I sit in front of the computer in the wee hours of the morning there is a sense of expectancy that has not been there for two years.  This is not an excitement.  It is expectancy.  I want to write this before any of my conservative friends say anything and affect my thoughts.  I want to be pure with our readers.  I am not excited about the results because I don’t trust the Republicans.  However, there is some hope that maybe something good may come out of this election.

The predicted massacre of the Democratic Party occurred.  Oh, the talking heads are already trying to play things down, but make no mistake about it, this was a massacre.  Oh, I understand, the Senate was kept by the Democrats, but they lost the super majority and were brought down to a very slim majority.  It certainly changes the complexion.  The house majority went to the Republicans in a big way by some 60 to 65 seat pick up.  This is the largest turn around in 65 years.  The governorships across the nation went Republican as did many of the statehouses go Republican.  This is going to have an impact, a strong one.  While I grieve that Brown became governor of California, I am not surprised.  After all, it is California and they also reelected Barbara Boxer.  There will be no turn around for California.  The only saving grace for California is it will soon be absolutely bankrupt and will be only a burden on the rest of the nation.  In fact, Brown will probably be much like Schwarzenegger who helped destroy this state.  It will soon be, the last one out of the state, turn out the lights.  Well don’t worry about it, you won’t have any energy left to run the lights anyway.

Some of the other races that were kind of fascinating; one was the Arizona governor’s race.  The entire liberal steam engine attempted to demonize Governor Brewer.  They have attempted to scare anyone who was not white into believing Brewer wanted to arrest them all and send them to Mexico.  Brewer won quickly and by a very sizable amount.  This had to break Hussein and Attorney General Eric Holder’s hearts.  Also, they made all kinds of accusations against the South Carolina Governor elect Nikki Haley having phony accusations of affairs.  This has been the MO of the liberals to trash every woman that dares to run as a Republican and they have done it with the blessing of the so-called feminists.  It did not work.  South Carolina elected Haley to be their governor.  While the liberals attempted to make Rand Paul some kind of religious sadist who made women bow to false gods, that effort did not work either.  Paul was elected to Senate from Kentucky by huge numbers.  We congratulate who we think is a good man, Governor John Kasich in Ohio.  It appears that Harry Reid will stay in, with the help of the union marking his name on the ballot ahead of time before voters voted, but Nancy Pelosi is out as speaker of the house.  Good riddance Ms. Pelosi.  Why don’t you go find a job where your big mouth cannot be heard in the public arena?  We’re sick of hearing your rhetoric.

Immediately, talking heads like Juan Williams on Fox who obviously didn’t learn much from his liberal buddies firing him from NPR, wanted to discredit the Tea Party.  That has been the agenda of the liberals from the beginning of this election season.  However, the Tea Parties influence was clear.  All of their candidates did not win, but there was enough influence that maybe the establishment Republicans, who by the way are just as bad as the Democrats, may have to take notice.

In fact, many of my conservative friends have been writing letters to the Democrats over the last few days leading up to the election.  These letters were fun to read talking about the Democrats needing to learn how to write a resume.  I hope ones like Russ Feingold in Wisconsin can still remember how to do that because I am glad he is out.

However, let me take a different approach.  Let me write a letter to the incoming Republicans.  You better understand something.  If you come into office and start compromising with the liberals and start spending like drunken sailors, we will come for you as well and throw you out of the office.  If you start doing what you did when George W. Bush was president throwing away $70 billion of our taxpayers’ money on the bankulus bail out, just so the banks could take the money and pay out huge incentive packages and then go ahead and foreclose on people anyway, you will be out again.  If you come into office and try to sell us out again like Scott Brown did in Massachusetts when the Tea Partiers got him elected and the first thing he did was sell out those who elected him, we will not forget.  We don’t care if Hannity and Limbaugh and Beck are your water boys trying to convince us that you will fix everything.  We will remember and you will be out as well.  You were given a mandate on 11/2/10 to put a stop to the stupidity that has been going on in Washington now for 22 years by Republicans and Democrats alike since Ronald Reagan left office.  Don’t take us for granted.  You better do what you were put in office to do, or we will get rid of you as well.  You have been just as bad as the Democrats and we expect better now.  Don’t start giving us the amnesty talk and the double talk on Defense of Marriage and telling us no new taxes while you stab us in the back in the smoke filled back rooms.  We are watching and we have not placed you into office because we like Republicans.  We recognize you have been just as big of crooks as the Democrats.  You need to take our voices seriously, or you will be next.

I want to encourage all of our readers to pray for the leadership of our country.  That includes Hussein who desperately needs Jesus Christ for real.  We encourage you to pray for our nation and ask God to help us.  We need to repent, me included, for our failures and come back to the only One that can really fix it, Jesus Christ.  Pray like you have never prayed before.  Maybe God has given us another chance to turn to Him.  PRAY!
