The Warrior's Sword

I will admit to you that much of our output on the website has been political.  The reason for that is we are in the election season.  Now the election is over and it is time to pray for the new leaders and keep moving ahead for what is more important, the building of God's Kingdom.  I have been amazed over the last few weeks of how heavy the attack has been on our ministry and on others around us.  Men that I have great respect for are under tremendous attack in their ministries.  Unfair attacks!  It is really sad to watch the things happening that often leave us stunned how hard the enemy is hitting.  I have been preaching a series of messages on WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING? and the attack has been amazing.  Satan takes these things seriously and he will not stop.  In fact, I reminded our church that the Bible tells us the Devil will realize his time is short in the last days and he will unleash an unprecedented attack on those who dwell on the earth.  That attack is in full swing.  There is so much happening and it is happening again to good people.  My heart cries for all these issues.  We must not back down from what the enemy is doing.  Remeber the strong words of God's Word saying "When the enemy comes in like a flood, He will raise up a standard against him."  While the attack is heavy, the flood will not over take us.  We must be a standard.  We cannot be a standard when we are wilting under the pressure.  We must preach the word.  We must be instant in season and out of season.  We must study to show ourselves approved.  When the enemy throws the threats out against us, we must stand firm and continue to be what God has called us to be.  We must be careful to not get distracted from the high calling before us.  We must fix our eyes on the author and finisher of our faith and not lose sight of the promise.  Also, we must remember when we see these things coming to pass, we are not to look down in a cowering attitude.  We are to look up because our redemption draws nigh.  Don't listen to the scoffers who say where is the promise of His coming.  Just hold onto His promise, it means more than what any college professor thinks.  Praise the Lord in spite of the attacks.  In the end, WE WIN!
