The “Rev.” Al Sharpton has converged on Indianapolis to push his agenda on Indiana.  Sharpton is not a black leader but a self serving, self centered egotist troublemaker.  The great Martin Luther King would have been embarrassed by this man and what he has been doing for years.  That includes when he drummed up Tawana Brawley a few years ago and professed she had been raped by six New York Police Officers.  After he raised money, drummed up all kinds of racial hatred, stirred up all kinds of anger, it came out the story was completely fabricated.  Was Sharpton ever reprimanded?  Nope!  He just rode off into the sunset with a pocketful of cash and a bunch of angry people left in the wake.  Now he is Indianapolis because of all the police issues that have occurred recently there.  I could have told you there would be police issues when the government in Indianapolis did stupid things like uniting the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the city police into one unit with less supervision and accountability making the police department a huge government bureaucracy.  This bureaucracy was then placed under the authority of a government that was bankrupt and incapable of handling any affairs.  Yeah, that was not a prescription for disaster.  Now Sharpton wants to fix Indianapolis.  He immediately began to holler racism.  Funny.  The one incident that has angered citizens there was a terrible tragic accident apparently due to incompetence on an officer’s part.  The officer was apparently emailing on his in car computer while racing to an incident.  He hit a person on a motorcycle.  Yes, that is a terrible tragedy.  Does it have anything to do with race?  No.  The officer and the victim on the motorcycle were both white.  Yet Sharpton will not allow an opportunity to yell all cops are racists.  Yes, arguably the officer might have been incompetent, but race had nothing to do with it.  A couple Baptist ministers in town are the ones brining Sharpton in and they are running their mouth the most.  It is a fact that ministers often bring the public’s view upon themselves.  When the public sees the charlatans on television begging for money while they are flying around in their private jets, the public assumes that ministers are money grubbing phonies.  When the public hears loud mouths like Sharpton, a self proclaimed Reverend shoot off his mouth about racism when racism is not an issue at all, that becomes the view of ministers.  Mr. Sharpton, your loud mouth has caused all kinds of hatred in New York and around the country.  We would appreciate it if you left it out of Indiana.
