The Warrior's Sword

In the midst of all the economic mess, something has kind of flown under the radar screen.  Literally thousands of church buildings across the nation have fallen into foreclosure.  You see, when people can't pay for their own houses, they certainly can't pay for the church buildings.  Many churches have sunk their people into millions of dollars of debt buidling large extravagant buildings and facilities and now they can't be paid for.  I noticed a little news blip and then did a web search and found thousands of churches are in foreclosure.  We need to pray that the economic crisis in America will not bring about a crisis in places where people can go to worship.  Oh yes, we can worship in our own homes and should.  However the Scripture says forsake not the assembling of yourselves together.  The devil will use any means to destroy the church including the banking system.  This needs to be a matter of prayer to all of us.
