The US Department of Agriculture is blowing $2 million of taxpayer money. That money is being given to food behavior scientists to “trick” our children into eating right in the lunch line at school. These scientists, I am sure, would tell us the money is justified. After all, they have come up with such brilliant ideas as hiding the chocolate milk behind white milk. After all, our children are too stupid to remember the chocolate milk is there, and they will ask for the healthier kind because it is the one showing. They are putting the salad bar near the check out and putting the fruit in pretty baskets. If you are dastardly enough to still ask for a desert, you must pay cash on the barrel head to receive it. Several months ago when the government was going headstrong after smokers (by the way, we oppose smoking, but we oppose more government controlling our thoughts and lives), we were warning people the food would be next. As the government began to attack McDonalds (only Bill Clinton and Barack Hussein are allowed to eat there), we were warning you that the food police would soon be out in full force. As cigarettes were going up from 75 cents a pack to $6 a pack (I don’t personally care if they are $50 a pack, but again I don’t like the government doing it to control people), we were telling you that soon food and soda would be in their sights. Now we are spending $2 million of taxpayer money to “trick” our children into eating healthier? Cornell University researchers have found these techniques are effective. That’s why you are paying $50,000 a year for a college education. So the colleges can figure out how to trick your kids into eating healthier. Let me say again, this is not a slam against eating healthier. God only knows I wish I would develop those habits of eating healthier. I wish for all of you that you would eat healthier. However, when the government begins to spend our money, that they don’t have by the way, to trick us and manipulate us in anything, we should be very concerned of the consequences. God save the Big Mac and French Fries from the tyranny of people like Barack Hussein and George W.
