Ashland, Nebraska has become a controversial place to be a midget football cheerleader. Fayleen Frampton was an eleven year old that had been cheering for some time. She was asked by Coach Toni Harris to do a cheer saying “Jump, Shake your booty… Jump Jump, shake your booty. While doing this cheer, the little cheerleaders were to shake their behind in front of the fans. Fayleen refused to do the cheer stating the shaking of the behind had nothing to do with cheerleading or football. Coach Harris promptly kicked her off the team for taking a stand for what she believed in. It seems amazing that little girls would be asked to shake their behinds in front of fans. We encourage our readers to go to OneMillionMoms.com and sign the petition in support of this little girl who was brave enough to stand against peer pressure. She is right. Shaking your behind has nothing to do with football or cheerleading and she should not have been expected to do it, nor should any other little girl. If the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders want to do such things, they are adults and that is their choice. However, little girls should not be portrayed as sex objects.
